This week Taylor Turn is celebrating the American holiday- Halloween! Students and parents arrived with smiles and curious ideas of what tricks and treats would await them. The barn was looking festive with decorations of witches and glowing pumpkins for the warm fall night of this party. Students and instructors alike all dressed up for the riding party. In addition to dressing up themselves, the students also decorated the horses to their own taste. Emily even brought her dog, Tucker, in a headless horseman costume. The riding party included games on horseback and a scavenger hunt after the ride. The horseback games included scary posing, musical cones, limbo, candy corn bobbing, pumpkin rolling, and eye ‘n spoon to name a few. The scavenger hunt had rhyming notes that included horse knowledge and hints around the property. Students and parents enjoyed figuring out the hints and picking up their treats as their reward. The evening was accompanied with spooky fun music to listen to while the students were riding. The evenings were a great success! Thanks to all that helped and participated.

LOL, looks like a lot of fun! Can’t wait until Saturday!
