TRAINING
Horse's in training will be worked with 5 days per week and handled every day.
The horse's health, personality, and correct response will determine the horse's
work load. The horse in training will be kept in one of our premium horse stalls,
fed and cared for like the horses in boarding, and will not be turned out with other
horses. Turn out alone is to insure your horse's safety and health.
Schedule a time with one of our trainers to come out and visit the facility, as well
as see them demonstrate their skills.
Kyle Taylor offers training for horse and rider in natural horsemanship,
cowboy and classical dressage, problem solving, and for all contesting,
western, and English show events. Using training with common sense,
practical use methods, and taking the horse's personality into account
your horse will start showing results quickly. These results are do to
the training Kyle has received from Ken McNabb Apprenticeships
('02)and Ryan Gingretch ('04)as seen on RFD TV, as well as Pam Mack
one of the areas most accomplished barrel racers. Kyle has a
background in 4h, open shows, nbha, rodeos, and is still competing in
many of these events today. She enjoys halter, showmanship, western
pleasure, walk trot, horsemanship, trail, reining, western riding, barrels,
poles, key hole, flags, extreme trail racing, hunter under saddle,
equitation, jumping, dressage, and team penning.
Patience and understanding of the horse are some of the most
important principals that can be learned. Horses learn the best when
they have a clear answer of what you expect, in addition for the rider
to understand there is a difference between discipline and punishment.
Along with the horse being trained the owner will recieve a weekly
private lesson to learn about the horse's progress and have a hands on
chance to learn the new cues taught to the horse.

Lin Brough has a solid background in classical
dressage, having begun training under the area's
only USDF gold medalist. She has also been
fortunate enough to work with Jumpers,
Hunters, and Eventing trainers. She believes in
broad horizons to be a better rider and trainer.
Lin has also done Hunter under Saddle, Jumping,
Equitation, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship,
Trail, and Reining. She believes a trainer must be
flexible and have a wide array of methods
available because every horse is an individual
and one size does not fit all! A wide range of
training is available to match what you are
looking for. Re-training and fixing problem horses
is available as well.
