The speed limit is 10mph. No running, screaming, or honking. Children not in the lesson are to be attended to 100% of the time while at Taylor Turn. Children 8 years old and younger must wear protective headgear. Anyone participating in jumping or speed events will wear a helmet. Long pants and hard-soled shoes are required for students. No alcohol is permitted on the grounds. Clean up after yourself and your horse. No littering. No smoking in barn lot. (This means in and around all barns, pastures, and arenas.) WAIVER OF LIABILITY |
Warning: Under Indiana law, an equine professional is not liable for injury to, or the death of, a participant in equine activities resulting in the inherent risks of equine activities. I request permission to participate in riding lessons with Taylor Turn, residing at 5751 W Southport Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46221. I fully understand that horse back riding and horse related activities are very dangerous. I wish to participate in these activities knowing they are dangerous. I accept all the risks of (including death) to me or my property. In exchange for my being permitted to participate in these activities, for myself, my heirs, guardians, and legal representatives, I release and agree not to make or bring any claim of any kind against Taylor Turn or its members, employees, guests, or any land owner, or other persons making available the land used for Taylor Turn, for any injury (including death), to me or any damage to my property whether from anyone’s negligence or not, or related activities; I also agree if anyone makes any claims because of an injury to me, or for any damage to my property, I will keep all those released by this agreement free of any damages or costs because of those claims. In signing this waiver I am agreeing to compensate Taylor Turn for any damages from myself, my heirs, guardians, and legal representatives, to, but not limited to; barns, fences, horses, animals, pets, driveway, arena, and persons.
