Taylor Turn Stable is happy to offer horse boarding services, the focus is to provide happy and healthy herd animals. Our horses eat three times a day on a combination of square bales, grass pasture, and grain. This facility feels strongly about not using round bales due to health problems it may cause and not over-using grain/fortified feed in equines. Horses are able to spend time in their stalls, lots/paddocks, indoor arena, and pasture for turn out options. Horses have automatic water troughs, electric hook ups at each stall for fans/heated water buckets, and other appliances. Hitching posts with mats or cross ties in the horse barn are for your tying preference. The large 70×120 indoor arena has sand footing, which is conditioned and watered regularly. There is a boarder’s tack barn with windows, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, heat/air, and security cameras. Trailer parking is available for boarders and is included in the board amount. Boarders are welcome 24/7 to visit their animals and use the facility. Owner does live on site to over-see all care and safety of the horses and riders. There are vets and farriers that come out on a regular basis. The farriers are well trained and certified. The vets are local and one has a local campus. Vet checks are done twice a yr, shots are required by a vet, and regular de-worming is necessary.

Instead of an all forage diet, horses now receive hay and grain every day. Rates below reflect this increase.

Hello, i feel that i noticed you visited my web site so i came to return the prefer?.I’m trying to to find things to enhance my site!I guess its ok to make use of a few of your ideas!!
Hello.
When I get into college, I hope to get a part time job and raise the money to adopt a horse from Indiana Horse Rescue and, if necessary, board it at your stable. I was wondering, however, if you take volunteers to help, like, much out stalls, feed the horses, groom them, wash them down, etc. I’m trying to find a place where I can work with horses to learn more about them and get some more experience before getting my own. Thank you!
Hi Theresa,
Thank you for your interest into Taylor Turn Stable! Volunteers are welcome to help out, but do need to be educated before working with any of the horses alone. Our lesson program is a good place to learn a lot- and you’re welcome to watch for free. When you gain enough knoweledge about our horses and facility- you’re welcome to take on more duties. You could also assist others here with their duties.
**Volunteers are reminded that there will be no form of pay for volunteering.
Thanks for asking and look forward to hearing from you in the future!
